1. Who owns these photographs
Every photograph published on this website was taken by Calgary Parging Ltd. on our own Calgary job sites, of our own crews and our own work. They are original works and they are protected by the Copyright Act (Canada). Calgary Parging Ltd. is the copyright holder and the creator of record. All rights reserved.
2. What you may do without asking
You may view, save and share our photographs for personal, non-commercial reference, for example when comparing contractors, showing a spouse what a rainscreen cavity looks like, or discussing a repair with your insurer. Search engines may index and display them under their normal terms.
3. What requires written permission
Written permission is required before you use any of our photographs in advertising, on a commercial or competitor website, in a print or digital publication, in a quote or proposal, in training material, or in any AI training dataset or generated output. Cropping out a watermark, re-uploading to a stock library, or presenting our work as your own portfolio is never permitted.
4. Editorial and media use
We routinely grant journalists, trade publications, building-science writers and educators free permission to reproduce our photographs, provided the use is editorial and the credit line in section 6 appears with the image. Ask first, we answer quickly.
5. How to request a license
Email office.calgaryparging@gmail.com or call (403) 727-4464. Include the full URL of the image you want, where it will appear, and whether the use is editorial or commercial. Commercial licensing is quoted per image and per use. We respond to licensing requests within 5 business days.
6. Required credit line
Where permission is granted, credit the image as Calgary Parging with a visible link to calgaryparging.com, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Removal requests
If you are a property owner and you would prefer a photograph of your home taken off this site, tell us and we will remove it, no explanation needed. Email privacy@calgaryparging.com with the image URL and the address.
